Floating market-River Kwai - Chiang Rai & Chiang Mai
Day 1 : Floating market - River Kwai - Ayutthaya
We drive passing through salt fields and rice paddies before boarding a long tail speedboats to the market. The market is made up
of Thai style canoes laden with colorful, succulent fruits, meats and vegetable. Continue to Kanchanaburi, to visit the infamous
bridge over the River Kwai. Visit JEATH museum and the Allied War Grave Cemetery. Afternoon, drive to Ayutthaya and overnight.

Day 2 : Ayutthaya - Lopburi - Phitsanulok
Check out and drive to visit an ancient capital of Siam- Ayuthaya. Visits
the splendid ruins of palaces, ruins temples, memories of Burmese invasions from centuries before.
After lunch, we proceed to visit Lopburi, the former summer capital of Siam.
You will see the magnificent stone carvings of Phra Prang Sam Yod, which is a 13th century laterite
block shrine with three spires. Stop can be made to visit the Kala shrine of Sarn Prakarn, which was a
Buddhist sanctuary in the mid 13th century. Hundreds of monkeys can be seen.Afternoon, drive
further north to Phitsanulok which is spread along the banks of the Nan River.

Day 3 : Sukhothai - Lampang
After breakfast we drive out to visit Sukhothai. Formerly the capitol of Siam in the 13th century this city had no less than three rows of earthen ramparts and two moats
to enclose the inner city. The ruins and Buddha statues here are superb. Just 55km north is Sri Satchanalai, which was considered Sukhothai’s twin city, highly
recommended to visit. After lunch enjoy and relaxation on our vehicle while driving further north
through jungle-clad hills heading for Lampang to visit more temples.

Day 4 : Famous Golden Triangle
This morning, check out and drive to Chiang Rai to visit Hall of the Opium. The hall are combines a museum on the history of
opium and the impact of illegal drugs, with an information centre for research and extension education on opium, opiates and
other narcotics.Continue on to visit the Golden Triangle area, where the borders of Thailand,
Burma, and Laos meet. Here you can hire a long-tail boat trip to enjoy ride on the splendor of mighty Mae Khong River which joining
the Ruak River and forming the “ triangle “ Thailand, Burma, and Laos.Then continue on to visit
Chiang Saen, the old capital city in A.D.1260. There are many interest ancient magnificent ruins, temples and museum to visit.

Day 5 : in Chiang Rai
Morning, depart for Mae Sai, Thai-Burma trading border. Cross the Sai River into Tha Chilek, Burma border town to witness local Burmese
life in nearby village. Afterward, visit the long necked hill tribe village. There are an estimate 250,000 to 500,000 tribes people living in
the north, spilt among seven major groups; Karen, Meo, Akha, Lahu, Lawa, Lisu and Yao.
All retain distinct cultures, language and religious beliefs, though their most obvious difference is their dress to wear their
own style of elaborate costume. The Long - Necked Karen hill tribes or Padaung is one of the latest hill tribe immigrants who
came to form a new minority group in Thailand.

Day 6 : to Chiang Mai
Morning, departs for Chiang Mai stopping along the way at Mae Ka Chan, famous for a hot spring which locals believe has healing powers.
Local lunch can be found en route. Continue on driving through spectacular hilly and jungle scenery heading for Chiang Mai,
the “Rose of North”. Tonight, don't miss the opportunity to enjoy a typical northern Thai dinner
known as Khantoke. As you savor traditional dishes and dancers will perform a series of folk stories along with colorful
hill tribe dances.

Day 7 : In Chiang Mai
Morning suggest to visit the Elephant camp. Skilled “Mahouts” show how Elephants have worked in the jungle for years due to their
immense strength. Watching the elephant play and bathe is also quite an experience.
After noon, visit Sankampeang, Chiang Mai’s cottage home industries producing and selling various kinds of quality handicrafts.

Day 8 : In Chiang Mai
Morning suggest to visit Doi Suthep mountain, to visit the 600 year old temple of WAT PHRATHAT DOI SUTHEP. After a
drive up the mountain’s winding road, the final climb to the site is via an enormous mythological Nagas (Dragon-headed serpent)
staircase of 306 steps. Inside the cloister is an intriguing copper-plated Chedi topped by a
five-tier gold parasol which contains partial relics of Lord Buddha. On a clear day there are incomparable views over the city of
Chiang Mai from the temple grounds. All day free at leisure till departure transfer to Chiang Mai Airport
for departure flight to Bangkok and for onward flight
Visit the elephant camp and watch the elephant at works, moving logs and several shows.
The opportunity to enjoy the exciting elephant trek over hilly trails and across a stream.
Visit an unspoiled long necked hilltribe villages near the camp.
